From the very beginning, it was evident that Catcher was destined for greatness as the first puppy from her litter to explore beyond the whelping box. Her rapid ascent in the show world included earning several BOBs and securing a notable placement in her Futurity class. A pairing with Torque, BISS, BIF, BIM Star Synchronous Rotation CD, RN, MH, SDX, RD, VX, BROM, resulted in an impressive litter of 7 puppies.

Venturing back into field training, Catcher achieved the impressive feat of becoming the first Grand Champion Master Hunter bitch for Weimaraners. A subsequent breeding with Summit, CH Pike’s Peak Silversmith Summit MH, SDX, NRD, VX, BROM, FROM, Top Producing for 4 years in a row – 2014-2017, produced what we dubbed the "Magnificent Seven," an entire litter of Champions. Catcher attained Top Producing Dam status in 2014 with 7 of her puppies finishing in just one year. Catcher and Summit’s second litter produced a singleton who went on to become a Grand Champion and Senior Hunter as well.

Following her third and final litter, Catcher found a new home with Megan and Brendan Rice. Rather than retiring, she embarked on NAVHDA Utility Test training with her novice owner, Brendan, and achieved a UT Prize III twice at the age of 7. Catcher also earned her RDX with her novice handler and explored other enjoyable sports like Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog, Barn Hunt, and dock diving.

Despite her diverse pursuits, Catcher's true passion remained working with Brendan, whether on runs or in the field.

Catcher's legacy extends to her becoming BROM and FROM, joining her grandmother (Beka) and mother (Eva) in achieving this distinction. Furthermore, her daughter Sadie continued this legacy, creating what we believe to be the only 4-generation BROM and FROM in the program. Catcher's infectious 'go get it' personality, characterized by a sense of fun in everything she did, was passed down to her puppies and continues with her grandpuppies. With an impressive record of 13 Champions, 4 Grand Champions, 1 Best in Specialty Show winner, 3 Master Hunters, 3 Senior Hunters, 2 Junior Hunters, 1 NAVHDA NA Prize 1, 1 NAVHDA NA Prize II, 1 NAVHDA UT Prize II, 1 Tracking Dog, 1 agility star with multiple titles, along with multiple rally titles, ratings, shooting test titles, and more. Catcher undeniably stands out as a deserving candidate for the Weimaraner Club of America Hall of Fame.
