WCA Hall of Fame 2022

He finished his show championship with three 5-point majors from the puppy class. He was a joyous puppy in the show ring and gave no end of laughter to the spectators, much to Chris’ horror and embarrassment. Aleck matured into a consummate show dog and went on to be an all-breed Best in Show winner, a multiple Best in Show Specialty winner, and the Inaugural Top 20 Invitational winner.

He also was a great producer and his offspring excelled both in the show ring and in the field, with 73 show champions, 5 Master Hunters, and 9 Senior Hunters. Their accomplishments enabled him to have the distinction of being our breeds only Best-in-Show BROM FROM recipient.

He was the Top Producing Weimaraner and Top 5 All-Breed producer for 2001 with 22 show champions. Aleck has multiple progeny that have won futurities and maturities and was the sire of the 2004 Top Producing Dam. His offspring have also excelled in performance, earning numerous agility, tracking, and obedience titles and include several all-breed obedience High in Trial winners.

He was a joyful individual who never had a bad day and is still missed by all who knew and loved him.
